The Toronto Christmas Santa Claus Parade is the longest running children's parade in the world. It is an annual Toronto Christmas event that marks Santa's first appearance of the year, & unofficially launches Christmas. This most beloved highlight draws millions of the young & the young at heart to line the streets for a Sunday afternoon in November. The parade is almost six kilometers long with more than 25 floats on themes ranging from Harry Potter to Hockey Night in Canada. This event features more than 20 musical bands & over 1,500 costumed volunteers ranging in age from 8 to 80.
Christmas is the season for giving & there are numerous organizations in the city that really need your help. Attend a Toronto Christmas party fundraiser & make a difference in the life of someone less fortunate than you.
